Article writing and making money on the internet
Article writing can be very lucrative but so can publishing other peoples articles. Which is better to base your website on. Articles and article marketing or a blog and blog posts?
I was surfing and reading articles at an article directory and ran across one that said blogs are worthless and articles are the only way to go. He made a case for articles being more in depth than blog posts and that made them better for search engines and for your customers than an article.
Part of his premise was that blog posts are to short to be informative and replies or comments to blogs are even shorter. I don’t believe that at all. Probably because I have blog posts I make that are longer than a lot of articles I’ve written. In most cases it depends on the subject.
I’ve also seen blog comments that are longer than some articles I’ve seen. Blog posts can be as long or as short as you want them to be. The man took one premise, twisted it to suit his purposes and then came to the conclusion articles had to be better.
Funny thing about the net. There seldom is one best way to do things. There are many, many different ways to accomplish everything. Article marketing to article directories is one way, writing articles to keep for yourself is another, blogs are, yet again, another. Making money is the goal. To make money using SE without paying for adwords or the like isn’t that tough and it’s even easier when writing articles of the internet.
If you aren’t making money on the internet it may be time for a website redesign. Sometimes you wonder if it’s time to redesign your site with different layouts, graphics and text. The answer is yes if your visitors don’t stay on your website and you aren’t making money you should be making. Here are a few things you might want to consider about website redesign.
Try to remember that your site design and layout was to serve a specific purpose. That purpose should have been selling something or getting Adsense clicks. If you want to do a website redesign just for the sake of redesigning your website you probably shouldn’t do it. Particularly if you have a good selling website. Don’t do a redesign just for the sake of having a different look. Do it to increase sales or visitors. When you want to make money on the internet that’s where it comes from. Sales and visitors. If your visitors to your website have stopped buying from you it’s time to redesign.
