Ask an Expert for advice
For the knowledge hungry out there, the Internet is a two sided sword in some ways. On the one hand, it gives you access to a sea of knowledge, just a search away. I am sometimes amazed at what kind of information I am able to find. On topics I wouldn’t ever have been able to research before, I can now find several sites explaining the ins and outs, and almost always for free. On the flip side, wading through the useless information to find the gold nuggets can sometimes be time consuming. This is especially true if your knowledge of the subject is null, and you can’t spot the good information from the bad. This is why it can pay to ask an expert.
The best places I have found to ask experts are message boards and specialized web sites. About.com and Yahoo answers are two favorites of many around the world. My personal favorite is Wikipedia, and ofcourse Google which is the place I go to learn a new skill.
