Ghost and Witches Halloween Costume Ideas for Your Kids

Children love to have spectacular costumes for Halloween. They love to be the centre of attention and want their costumes to make a good impression on their peers. This is why they would very much like to have a say in choosing their own Halloween costumes. Yet, when it comes to Halloween costumes they are highly predictable: boys will most certainly want to be ghosts, while girls will most definitely enjoy being a witch. So, if you are thinking about giving them a surprise, choose one of these costumes, depending whether you have a boy or a girl.

There are numerous costumes which can satisfy even the pickiest child or parent. For example, if you decide to go for a kids witch costume, there are many styles which you can choose from. If your little girl wants to have a pink outfit, a good witch costume will be very suitable, while if your little girl wants something creepier you can choose a black outfit, preferably with some orange, green or red accents. Candy corn witch costumes are also available, as well as different colourful costumes inspired by the witch theme. These latter options are more suitable for younger girls, which look great in vivid colours. In fact, it is great to choose colourful costumes for children, as colours express happiness and bliss and this is how a child should be.

However, no matter how hard you try, you will not find a colourful ghost, so if your girl or boy wants to be a ghost for Halloween, you will have to forget about colours and look for some convincing ghost outfits. There are also numerous opportunities for kids who want to become ghosts this Halloween. Tomb Slayer is a really convincing kids ghost costume, which will attract numerous compliments and will bring your child the title of the most real ghost. Other veridical ghost costumes include Barnacle Bill, pirate ghost and the ghost gentry. Your child will be very happy to wear one of these costumes.

Even though you, as a parent may like to see your child only in cute things, sometimes is better to let them explore their darker sides too. By letting them be the bad guys, they will burn up their negative energy and thus will not be drawn into doing bad things for a long period of time. Thus they will be happy both during Halloween and after and when they are happy, the parents are happy too!
