In the annals of NBA history, the Detroit have to be considered among the top franchises. In the 80s, the Pistons were known as the “Bad Boys” and made the finals 3 straight times, winning back to back championships in 1989 and 1990. The Pistons became a great team again in the 2000s, going to the Eastern Conference Finals 6 straight years and winning the NBA championship in 2004. Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, and Chauncey Billups are among the greatest Detroit Pistons of all time.
