How To Structure The Outline Of A Resume
There was a time when unemployment was low and government regulation on employers wasn’t stringent. I used to be a business owner. It wasn’t that hard. We had Cal Osha but they never even bothered to inspect me the entire 5 1/2 years I was open. I never got sued. Insurance was cheap.
This is not the case today. I would never consider opening a business today. Hiring employees is a nightmare. The government treats employers like they are rich greedy capitalist criminals that must be punished.
Today finding an job opening you qualify for is tough. If you do find one, you will have plenty of competition for the same opening. You must consider the best outline of a resume to get yourself noticed and considered for an interview. I always recommend making the outline of a resume as simple and clean as possible. Don’t use a fancy font or reinvent what the outline is. The HR person looking at the stack of applicants must be able to see key information at a glance. Make sure it is where they normally look for it.
