The Dark Lord Voldemort Costume Awaits
Halloween is a fun time of year. Traditions vary from family to family and today there are many alternatives to the traditional door to door “trick or treat” tradition that many of us grew up with. Many schools and churches host Halloween carnivals and bazaars. Friends may get together and throw a Halloween party or families may take the kids and visit a local haunted house for a fright night Halloween experience. All the major theme and amusement parks also have special activities for Halloween fun.
Costumes have long been one of the favorite parts of the Halloween tradition. Kids and grown up kids both enjoy dressing up in their favorite character costumes. Ever since Harry Potter hit the shelves and movie theatres, that costume line has exploded. It is a great theme for Halloween because you can choose to portray the good or evil characters. Sometimes it’s fun to play the villain.
Of course everyone who knows anything at all about Harry Potter is also acquainted with his archenemy Voldemort. Voldemort is so frightening to everyone, even his followers, that no one dare even speak his name, referring to his as “You-Know-Who” or “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.” It might be pretty cool to dress up in a Lord Voldemort Costume this Halloween or maybe just to scare the daylights out of your friends. “I’ll get that Harry Potter if it’s the last thing I do!” Oh yeah, it’s going to be fun!
