Thought About Poetry Lately?
Recently I discovered this fantastic blog for people, like me, who love all cultural and performing arts. Perhaps my favorite articles on this website, since I am a closet poet, are the ones about poetry.
One of the articles talks about how the public is gradually realizing that poetry is not reserved for a certain class of people. This is especially true with Slam poetry becoming more and more popular. While writing poetry has always been a universal form of expression, with the deconstruction of rhythm and rhyme, many budding poets are free to express themselves with nontraditional verse.
